(Better late than never, right?)

We had a great Halloween this year! We had a nice trip to the pumpkin patch to pick out some pumpkins and take some adorable pictures. (side note: while we were there Sam made friends with a very precocious little girl named Grace, who Sam called Grease. She whispered, and I am not making this up, “underwear” in Sam’s ear and couldn’t stopped giggling. Sam, for his part, didn’t get the joke!)

Then for Halloween, we put the kids in their costumes (Campbell the friendly ghost and garbage man Sam), went to our neighborhood Halloween party, and then did a little trick-or-treating. Sam was excited about getting candy but super nervous about going up to strangers and asking for candy (probably a good instinct!).
