This past Monday (Columbus Day), we took the kids apple picking. We’ve gone to the same place for the past few years, mainly because they sell the most delicious freshly baked apple goodies. It’s also a beautiful spot for picture taking.

The kids took their apple picking duties very seriously! This was the first year that they could really help! It was so fun.

Picking apples is hard work, so obviously they had to stop and take a snack break.

Why is it so hard to get them both looking at the camera and smiling, at the same time?

We got a good haul! We’ve made apple crisp and apple butter, and we still have a whole bag left!
